Heather Joy and Matthew Olds each donated a piece of work from their Abandoned Concentrations exhibition to the Vashon Allied Arts Annual Auction.

Heather Joy and Leanne Olds presented new work at VALISE gallery on Vashon Island. Opening reception was First Friday, August 5 from 6-9pm, with an artist talk just prior from 5:30-6pm. Here’s a video about the process of the show and some of the opening.
Vermillion Gallery

Matthew and Heather presented new work at Vermillion Bar & Gallery in Seattle, WA entitled Flourishing Remnants. Opening reception was Friday, June 3 from 6-9pm, and Blitz Capitol Hill Arts Walk was on Thursday, June 9 from 6-9pm. Click here to check out a little movie Matthew made of putting the show together.

Matthew and Heather presented new work at Vashon Allied Arts, Blue Heron Gallery in a show entitled Abandoned Concentrations. Opening reception was First Friday, March 4th from 6-9pm with an Artist Talk from 5:30-6pm. King County 4Culture Grant for Matthew

Matthew has received a fantastic grant! The project is titled “Beall Greenhouses as source” and will be exhibited in 2011.

Awards for Matthew & Heather

Matthew was awarded Best of Show and Heather got a Special Award at the Art Port Townsend/Expressions Northwest exhibition at the Northwind Arts Center in Port Townsend. Juror: Jess Van Nostrand, Exhibitions Curator, Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle.
